The form of housing assistance we provide varies depending on the type of request. For patients travelling from outside of New York City to receive treatment, we will often secure temporary housing at a hotel or through a partner organization in the community. We help families of patients residing in the immediate area by covering their rent or mortgage payments. In each
instance, the payment is made directly to the hotel, landlord or mortgage lender.

- Once the need has been confirmed, we collaborate with the social worker to extend housing assistance.
