Arieana Pirbaksh

Arieana joined the Harboring Hearts team as our Development Intern in July 2022. Born and raised in Guyana, South America, she embraces her Caribbean heritage.

As a student of New York University, Arieana focuses on Global and Immigrant Health in the Caribbean Diaspora and is also pursuing NYU Gallatin’s BA/MPH Dual Degree Program in Public Health Management. She is an advocate for equitable healthcare access in underserved communities.

Arieana enjoys nature walks, cycling, gardening, and reggae music. Her favorite foods are Guyanese fried rice, chow mein, and chicken curry.
